Real Casa de la Calle

Real High Street was the main hub of Medina, about which provided residential and craft workshops that were in the service of the Moorish court. His route started from the Puerta del Vino
up the area where now stands the Parador de San Francisco today and the Palace of the Abencerrajes. Among the buildings on the Calle Real High
highlight this house, built in the late thirteenth century or the beginning of XIV, as you tell us your decorations. In its northwest corner is a bathroom attached, later work, which serves as an entrance for both buildings, but possibly the house would have its own entrance and original entry by that street.
The house is organized around a courtyard, with corridors of rooms on all four sides, and a central pool that allowed one hand, cooling the hot summers and improve lighting Granada of the rooms immediately, and secondly, to act as a mirror reflecting the rich waters decorate their porches. There remain only two of the four bays, one south and one west. The main room of the house, whose walls were supported bath is of great interest in retaining plasterwork.
